Hot Wallet & Exchange Exposure

When the venue holding your balance fails.

Assets held on an exchange or in a connected hot wallet carry counterparty and operational risk you cannot control. This cover responds to defined loss events at the venue — a hack, insolvency, or a prolonged withdrawal freeze — after the venue's own recovery processes have run.

Maximum available limit CAD 10 million, subject to underwriting

Hot-wallet theft

Theft from your own connected wallets through unauthorised signing, where controls were in place.
