Our approach
We handle personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws, including Quebec's Law 25.
What we collect
Contact details you give us through forms; information about the risks you ask us to describe; and, if you consent, analytics data about how you use this site. We never ask for private keys or seed phrases.
Why we collect it
To respond to enquiries, to prepare insurance submissions with your consent, to meet legal and regulatory obligations, and to improve the site.
Sharing
We share information with insurers only to obtain cover you have asked for, and with service providers under written confidentiality obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or withdraw consent for use of your personal information by writing to privacy@admiralinsurance.ca. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
